Solstad to contract newbuild service vessel

SKUDENESHAVN, Norway -- Solstad Offshore ASA has entered a letter of intent witn Flekkefjord Slipp of Maskinfabrikk AS to build a construction service vessel.
The 113-m long by 24-m wide vessel will be purpose-built for inspection, maintenance, and repair.
Solstad has an agreement with Subsea 7 for hire of the vessel for six years with four yearly options to follow.
