Offshore staff

TØNSBERG, Norway -- Grenland Group has been awarded an engineering contract for drillship topsides design. The company's technology division has signed an engineering contract with Samsung Heavy Industries in Korea. The contract covers detail engineering for the drilling topsides for the Stena Drillmax II, Stena Drilling's new deepwater drillship.

The new vessel is a sister vessel toStena Drillmax I. Grenland Group delivered the topsides design for Stena Drillmax I to Samsung on June 30, 2006.

Engineering work is already underway at the Grenland Group's Tønsberg facilities.
