Malaysia's Alam Maritim (M) Sdn. Bhd. will acquire two anchor handling tug and supply boats and a DP2 ROV support and maintenance vessel for $40.8 million to be deployed in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

SINGAPORE -- Malaysia's Alam Maritim (M) Sdn. Bhd. will acquire two anchor handling tug and supply boats and a DP2 ROV support and maintenance vessel for $40.8 million to be deployed in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Alam Maritim signed the AHTS contracts with Pacific Crest Pte. Ltd. and the ROV contract with Prime Offshore International Pte. Ltd.
The AHTSs are scheduled for delivery in April and October 2007 while the DP2 vessel will be delivered and commissioned before end of next year or early 2008, says Alam.
