LAGOS, Nigeria– NigerStar 7 has acquired the pipelay barge Seven Antares.
Built in 2009, theSeven Antareshas a 300-ton main crane capacity. It is a 120-ton S-lay vessel with capacity to lay pipe of up to 60-in. in diameter, with an accommodation area more than 330 berths and a deck area of more than 1,300 sq m (13,993 sq ft).
NigerStar 7 is a Nigerian joint venture between Subsea 7 and Nigerdock, a Jagal subsidiary.
