Rolls-Royce to design, supply equipment for UT 715L ships

LONDON -- Companhia Brasileira de Offshore awarded Rolls-Royce a $19.6 million contract for offshore vessel design and equipment systems for two UT 715L ships.
Rolls-Royce is supplying the main engines and propulsion system as well as the automation and control systems. The two vessels will also be equipped with Rolls-Royce thrusters, steering gear and rudders, and will feature bulk handling system and deck machinery.
