Offshore staff
LOCKPORT, Louisiana -- Bisso Marine has launched three vessels in two recent projects. Using the D/B Cappy Bisso, a Bisso Marine crew of six launched the M/V Yellowfin and the M/V Bluefin in Lockport, Louisiana. Each ocean-going tug weighs 520 tons (472 metric tons).
In the second launch project, Bisso Marine used the D/B Lili Bisso to launch the new push boat Coon Wise in St. Rose, Lousiana. The six-man crew spent a day launching the 155-ton (141-metric-ton) boat, which was located about 80 ft (24 m) from the edge of the Mississippi River.
