Siem Offshore contracts STX Europe for new platform supply vessels

OSLO -- Siem Offshore has awarded STX Europe contracts totaling $157 million to design and build two platform supply vessels. The company's divisions for design, trading, and electrical systems in Ålesund, Norway, will deliver design and equipment packages for the projects. The vessels will be built, outfitted, and commissioned at STX Europe in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
