The drillship Energy Searcher has departed from the port at Da Nang, Vietnam following governmental clearance and has arrived on location, according to Northern Offshore.

HOUSTON -- The drillship Energy Searcher has departed from the port at Da Nang, Vietnam following governmental clearance and has arrived on location, according to Northern Offshore.

The vessel is operating under a one-year drilling contract with Vietgazprom, a joint venture between Petrovietnam and Gazprom.
