Farstad Shipping buys platform supply vessel Sical Torino

Farstad Shipping has agreed to buy the platform supply vessel Sical Torino for $25 million.

AALESUND, Norway -- Farstad Shipping has agreed to buy the platform supply vessel Sical Torino for $25 million. The VS470-MkII (3,570-DWT) vessel was built by STX Norway Offshore in 2006. It is currently trading the spot market in the North Sea.

Farstad expects to take delivery of Sical Torino later this month.
