ABERDEEN, UK -- Offshore Marine Services UK (OMS UK) has taken over the management and operation of four seismic support vessels for operations in the North Sea and West Africa. Management of the vessels has moved from the Australian division of the OMS Group to the company’s Aberdeen headquarters.
The four Chase vessels, OMS Quest, OMS Resolution,Cassandra 5, and Jaya Mermaid 3, are on fixed three-year contracts with option periods.
The Chase vessels have fuel carrying capacity of 1,000 metric tons (1,102 tons). Each ship is approximately 50 m (164 ft) in length, with deck space of 225 sq m (2,422 sq ft).
