Jackup PV Drilling III heads to Bach Ho field

SINGAPORE -- PetroVietnam Drilling & Well Services has awarded Keppel FELS a $460,000 bonus for delivering the jackup PV Drilling III early.

The rig, completed one and a half months ahead of schedule, has left Keppel FELS to begin a five-year contract with Vietsovpetro on the Bach Ho field, offshore Vietnam.

The KFELS B Class rig can operate in water depths of 400 ft (122 m) with a drilling depth of 30,000 ft (9,144 m).
