READING, UK -- Samsung Heavy Industries has awarded K2 International a three-year, $20-million contract to provide services for the assembly and installation of at least 20 derricks.
The project will require the installation of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment as well as structural surveying and alignment as required.
Work for the contract started at SHI's shipyard on Geoje Island, South Korea, on March 13.
