HOUSTON -- Rigdon Marine has delivered the Touchdown Rigdon 4000 class vessel. The vessel was christened and immediately deployed on a term charter in support of a deepwater drilling program in the Gulf of Mexico.
TheTouchdown is a diesel electric, DP2 PSV, which features a capacity of 4,000 bbl of liquid mud in an oval, self cleaning, segregated tank system. The PSV also includes three Z-Drives and two large forward tunnel thrusters.
