Offshore staff
LONDON -- Providence has taken delivery of the semisubmersible GSF Arctic II in anticipation of the company's upcoming multi-well appraisal drilling program at the Hook Head and Dunmore oil accumulations in the north Celtic Sea, offshore Ireland.
The rig is currently mobilizing to Irish waters. Providence and its partners have contracted the rig for a two firm well, plus one contingent well program. Drilling is expected to begin within the next two weeks, the company says.
