Apache, Woodside charter with Farstad

AALESUND, Norway -- Farstad Shipping has new charter commitments totaling NOK 540 million ($105.5 million).

Apache Energy Ltd. has secured the anchor handling tugs Far Grip (UT722, 14,400 hp) and Far Sky (ME 303 Mk2, 14,400 hp) to support its 700-day drilling campaign off Southeast Australia by the semisubmersible Ocean Patriot.

The program is due to commence in late September.

Woodside Energy Ltd. will begin a two-year charter of the AHTS vessel Far Saltire (UT728, 16,600 hp) off the Northwest coast of Australia.
