Transocean, Bergen Group sign rig upgrading contract

Transocean Offshore (North Sea) has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Bergen Group Hanøytangen for the upgrading of three rigs.

BERGEN, Norway -- Transocean Offshore (North Sea) has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Bergen Group Hanøytangen for the upgrading of three rigs. The LOI also includes an option for modification work on a further unit.
