Siem Meling Offshore DA has won a $57-million contract to deliver a platform supply vessel (PSV).

KRISTIANSAND, Norway -- Siem Meling Offshore DA has won a $57-million contract to deliver a platform supply vessel (PSV). The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 1Q 2009 from Eidsvik yard in Norway.

The Vik-Sandvik VS 485-designed vessel will accommodate 64 persons, have full under deck PSV capacities, diesel electric propulsion, clean design, and focus on fuel consumption and low emissions. The vessel will also be prepared for a large offshore crane, standby services, oil recovery, and fire fighting.
