Offshore staff
HAMILTON, Bermuda -- A major operator has issued an LoI to Seadrill for the jackup newbuild West Ariel. The one-year contract is worth $72 million, including mobilization fee. The assignment is for drilling operations in Southeast Asia, beginning in 2Q 2008.
West Ariel is currently under construction at KFELS in Singapore.
