Offshore staff
PARIS -- CGGVeritas has formed a joint venture with Norwegian ship-owner Eidesvik Offshore.
Eidesvik will manage 10 high-capacity 3D seismic acquisition vessels in the CGGVeritas fleet, including the two new X-BOW vessels Oceanic Vega and Oceanic Sirius.
The joint venture - CGGVeritas Eidesvik Ship Management AS - will be based in Bergen. Ownership is split between Eidesvik (51%) and CGGVeritas (49%).
