Offshore staff
SANDNES, Norway – Eni Norge has commissioned Polarkonsult to inspect vessels used during its operations offshore Norway.
This applies to the current Marulk and Goliat field developments and planned exploration drilling.
Polarkonsult, based in Harstad, Norway, will provide services related to HSE of the vessels used during Eni Norge’s operations, including those involving subsea installations, pipelay, and surveys.
Seismic, stand-by and supply vessels also are covered by the three-year contract, along with others used during Eni's drilling campaigns.
Inspection activities will involve verification of formal authorizations, inspection of rescue, life-saving and communications equipment, and checks of crew competence and state of emergency preparedness.
