In February, Dolphin set a production milestone of 6 tcf of gas deliveries from its fields offshore Qatar to the UAE and Oman since operations started in 2007.
TheDolphin Gas Project achieved full throughput in February 2008 and since then Dolphin has supplied 2 bcf/d to these countries, accounting for 30% of the UAE’s energy needs.
Over the past year three new export gas compressors were commissioned at Dolphin’s upstream facilities to support the six compressors already in operation.
