COPENHAGEN, DenmarkMaersk Supply Service has sold two more platform supply vessels.

TheMaersk Feeder and Maersk Fighterwere delivered to their new owners on Oct. 21 and 27, respectively. Both vessels will be modified and will no longer compete in the offshore supply vessel market.

Maersk Supply Service is reducing its fleet by up to 20 vessels over the coming 18 months. The divestment plan is a response to vessels in lay-up, limited trading opportunities, and the global over-supply of offshore supply vessels in the industry.

The company’s fleet is now 51 vessels.
