Total E&P Congo, via Petro Services, has awarded Farstad Shipping an 18-month contract for the new construction support vessel Far Sleipner to support subsea development offshore Congo.

AALESUND, NorwayTotal E&P Congo, via Petro Services, has awarded Farstad Shipping an 18-month contract for the new construction support vessel Far Sleipner to support subsea development offshore Congo.

There is an option for Total to extend the contract by six two-month periods.

Farstad has downsized its fleet by selling its anchor handler tug supply vesselLady Sandra, which was delivered in 1998.
