Petrobras gets second of three newbuild AHT vessels

    DOF ASA has delivered the Skandi Angra to its eight-year contract with Petrobras.

    BERGEN, Norway –DOF ASA has delivered the Skandi Angra to its eight-year contract with Petrobras. Norskan Offshore Ltda owns the anchor-handling tug supply vessel.

    Skandi Angra is a Vard AH11 design with bollard pull of 280 tons and 18,000 BHP.

    This is the second of a three-vessel construction contract. TheSkandi Urca was delivered in 2014, and the Skandi Paratayis scheduled for delivery in 1Q 2016. All are on long-term contracts with Petrobras.
