ABERDEEN, UK – Craig Group has launched its first F-Class emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV), the Grampian Fortress.
The IMT 958 multi-role vessel underwent a naming ceremony at the Balenciaga Shipyard in northern Spain.
Grampian Fortress, which is 58 m (190 ft) long, features diesel electric propulsion via twin azimuth stern drives. It is also equipped with daughter craft and fast rescue craft, and can transfer and store limited deck cargo and provide offshore locations with fresh water and fuel.
Later this year Craig Group expects to receive its second F-Class ERRV, theGrampian Freedom.
