Akselos developing digital twin system for Atlanta FPSO

LAUSANNE, Switzerland — Akselos, Yinson Production and Enauta have signed a multi-year contract to deploy Akselos' digital twin technology on the ABS-classed Atlanta FPSO in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil.
The aim is to increase safety, enhance operational efficiency and optimize life-cycle asset management.
Akselos claims its RB-FEA technology is 1,000 times faster than legacy simulation solutions and allows for limitless scale and improved accuracy, enabling Enauta’s team to integrate the engineering real-time simulation into a real operational environment.
The development will support asset integrity management of the FPSO and its integrated hull monitoring system.
