Yinson, PTSC extend contract for offshore Vietnam floater

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Yinson Production’s joint venture with PetroVietnam Technical Services, PTSC Asia Pacific (PTSC AP), secured a 12-month extension in late June for a bareboat charter contract offshore Vietnam for the FPSO PTSC Lam Son.
This will be followed by a further automatic extension of six months until Dec. 31, 2024.
Yinson estimates the contract value at $27.3 million.
The vessel has been operating in offshore Block 1-2/97 since 2014.
