Hornbeck to acquire six high-spec OSVs from Edison Chouest

COVINGTON, Louisiana – Hornbeck Offshore Services says that it has agreed to acquire a total of six high-spec new generation offshore supply vessels for an undisclosed amount of cash.

Hornbeck says that the deal is a definitive vessel purchase agreement reached with Nautical Solutions, LLC, an affiliate of Edison Chouest Offshore. 

Each of the vessels are said to be US-flagged, Jones Act-qualified, 280 class DP-2 OSVs with capacities of circa 4,750 DWT.

Based on certain conditions, Hornbeck Offshore anticipates taking serial deliveries of all six vessels over the next 12 to 15 months.
