BW Offshore FPSO gets six-month extension with Addax Petroleum

BW Offshore has signed an agreement with Addax Petroleum Exploration (Nigeria) Ltd. for a six-month extension for the lease and operation of the Sendje Berge FPSO.

OSLO, Norway — BW Offshore has signed an agreement with Addax Petroleum Exploration (Nigeria) Ltd. for a six-month extension for the lease and operation of the Sendje Berge FPSO.

The firm period has been extended to second-quarter 2023.

The FPSO has an oil processing capacity of 50,000 bbl/d and a gas handling capacity of 55 MMscf/d. Its storage capacity is 2 MMbbl.

The vessel is located in Nigera's Okwori Field. 

Back in November 2021, Addax again extended the FPSO contract by another year.
