STAVANGER, Norway — Prosafe says it has submitted the most competitive offer in a bidding process launched by Petrobras for a 650-day support rig contract offshore Brazil.
The contract value is about $73 million, equivalent to $112,500 per day.
Award and timing remain subject to a formal clarification process, during which other bidders may appeal.
If Prosafe is confirmed as the winner, it would deploy its Safe Zephyrus semisubmersible vessel for safety and maintenance support off Brazil in 2023.
