    Equinor keeps Solstad PSV for extended duty offshore Norway

    Equinor has taken up an option to extend its contract for Solstad Offshore’s Normand Searcher platform supply vessel (PSV).

    SKUDENESHAVN, Norway—Equinor has taken up an option to extend its contract for Solstad Offshore’sNormand Searcher platform supply vessel (PSV).

    The vessel, which has been on contract to Equinor since 2017, will continue working for the company supporting its operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf through September 202.

    Equinor has a further option to extend the arrangement by up to four more years.

    At the same time, Solstad has trimmed its PSV fleet, with its subsidiary Solstad Rederi selling the Nomand Sira today to an unnamed client.
