Solstad wins work for four subsea vessels

SKUDENESHAVN, Norway – Solstad Offshore ASA has secured contracts for four of its subsea construction vessels, with a combined value of around NOK400 million ($45.7 million).
Total firm utilization is 640 days, with additional options, for programs in the North Sea, Brazil, and West Africa. Normand Maximus, Normand Frontier, Normand Pioneer, and Normand Navigator will execute the campaigns during 2022.
According to the company, demand for subsea construction vessel remains strong for both renewable energy and offshore oil and gas activity.
