DOF Subsea, Solstad sell construction support vessels

    DOF Subsea Rederi III AS has agreed to sell the construction support vessel Geosund to an undisclosed international buyer.

    STOREBØ, Norway – DOF Subsea Rederi III AS has agreed to sell the construction support vessel (CSV) Geosund to an undisclosed international buyer.

    The vessel is expected to be delivered to the new owner in 1Q 2022.

    The Geosund was built in 2001 as a platform supply vessel and converted to an CSV in 2006.

    In addition, Farstad Supply AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Solstad Offshore ASA, has sold the CSV Far Saga to an undisclosed buyer.

    The vessel was delivered to the new owner on Nov. 8.
