Deliveries for the Seagreen offshore wind farm in the UK North Sea have started with the first five jackets handed over at the quayside in Hamriyah. By the end of the year, Lamprell expects to have constructed close to 150 jacket foundations for three of the UK’s largest offshore wind schemes, with an investment earlier in the year in the design and fabrication of a lifting frame leading to improved efficiencies.
The company’s Digital business unit has formed partnerships with Injazat/G42 and Akselos, and various other ventures are progressing, from cost solutions at the yards to digital service offerings for energy industry clients.
