Flex LNG completes carrier newbuild program

HAMILTON, Bermuda – Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. has delivered the LNG carrier Flex Vigilant to Flex LNG.

This is the company’s 13^th LNG carrier, and it completes its newbuild program.

The Flex Vigilant is a sister vessel to the Flex Aurora/Amber/Volunteer. The 174,000-cu m (6.14-MMcf) LNG carrier is fitted with XDF two stroke propulsion.

The vessel has departed South Korea and started a three-year time charter with Cheniere Energy Inc.
