SHANGHAI, China – Wison Offshore & Marine subsidiary Wison Offshore Technology will perform the front-end engineering and design (FEED) for the FLNG vessel for the Galveston LNG Bunker Port on Pelican Island, Galveston.
The project will service the ports of Houston, Galveston and Texas City, providing infrastructure to supply LNG to the growing global LNG bunker market.
Pilot LNG will employ technology using electric drives and air-cooling systems powered with electricity sourced primarily from Texas renewable energy, making the project one of the greenest facilities of its type in the world, Wison claimed.
