Offshore staff
SKUDENESHAVN, Norway – Solstad Offshore has won a contract for its anchor handler tug supply vessel (AHTS) Normand Ranger.
The vessel will mobilize from Norway to provide support to a drilling campaign from a semisubmersible rig, due to start in 2Q offshore northwest Australia.
Other Solstad AHTSs supporting the program are the Normand Saracen and Far Senator, the base port being Dampier.
In addition, Santos has contracted the platform supply vessel Seeker to assist drilling activities offshore Timor Leste, operating mainly from Darwin.
The firm contract period, due to start in April, is around six months, with further options available to Santos.
