AET’s latest shuttle tanker en route to Brazil

SINGAPORE – Samsung Heavy Industries has delivered the shuttle tanker Eagle Paulinia to AET.

This is the second of four Suezmax DP-2 shuttle tankers purposed built for long-term charter to Petrobras.

AET delivered the Eagle Paulinia to Petrobras on July 24, and it is now en route to Rio de Janeiro.

The Eagle Paulinia will join sister vessel Eagle Petrolina and the two DP shuttle tankers the company currently operates in Brazilian waters for Petrobras.

AET currently operates eight DP-2 shuttle tankers (including Eagle Petrolina and Eagle Paulinia). It has nine more shuttle tankers under construction that are expected to be delivered between 2020 and 2022.
