SINGAPORE – Keppel Offshore & Marine (Keppel O&M) has through its wholly-owned subsidiaries in Singapore and Brazil secured two contracts from MODEC for FPSOs with a combined value of around $73 million.
In Singapore, Keppel Shipyard will fabricate, complete, and integrate the topsides modules and mooring support structure for one of the FPSOs.
Components for the modules and mooring support structure should arrive during the current quarter for completion, integration and installation with the FPSO hull, due to reach the yard in 4Q.
The vessel, scheduled for delivery in 2Q 2021, the FPSO will be able to process 90,000 b/d of oil and 75 MMcf/d of gas, with a storage capacity for 700,000 bbl of oil.
In Brazil, Keppel O&M’s BrasFELS shipyard has a topsides module fabrication job for an FPSO for Petrobras’ Búzios field in the Santos basin.
It will be capable of processing 150,000 bbl of oil and 212 MMcf/d of gas, with a minimum storage capacity of 1.4 MMbbl of oil.
