SCHIEDAM, the Netherlands – CSBC Corp. has ordered a 4,000-metric offshore crane from Huisman for the heavy lift vessel Green Jade.

The company will build the crane in China. It is scheduled for delivery in 2022 for deployment by joint venture CSBC-DEME Wind Energy (CDWE) in the Taiwanese offshore wind market.

With a lifting capacity of 4,000 metric tons at 125 m (410 ft) above deck and outfitted with specific auxiliary systems for handling tall structures, this crane will enable the Green Jade to install foundations and wind turbines.

The crane is prepared for a super fly jib with significant lifting capacity and a whiphoist which allows lifting of smaller components up to a height of 185 m (610 ft) above deck, Huisman said.

The company also deliver a 65-metric ton knuckleboom crane for general lifting purposes. Both cranes will be installed and commissioned at the CSBC shipyard.
