SKUDENESHAVN, Norway – Equinor UK has extended Solstad Offshore’s contracts for the platform supply vessels Sea Frost and Normand Skipper.

Both have supported Equinor's UK North Sea operations since respectively July 2017 and January 2019, respectively. The contracts now run through January 2023, with a one-year extension option.

In addition, TAQA Bratani has contracted the Solstad PSV Far Spica to support the semisubmersible MSSI drilling one well and potentially a further well. The program is due to start this month.

And an unnamed company has booked the PSVs Normand Service and Normand Titus to assist a pipelay vessel in the North Sea for eight to 10 weeks from mid-April onwards.
