MELBOURNE, Australia – Upstream Production Solutions has entered into an agreement with the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources of the Australian government to provide operations and maintenance services to the FPSO Northern Endeavour.
On Feb. 14, 2020, the department announced that urgent steps were under way to secure the continued safety and security of the vessel after the liquidation of the Northern Oil & Gas Australia group of companies.
It also announced the establishment of the Northern Endeavour Temporary Operations Program to provide funding to support the operation and maintenance of the vessel.
Upstream PS has remobilized personnel to the FPSO and is proceeding under an initial short-term contract to provide services in a non-production environment.
The FPSO Northern Endeavour is permanently moored between the Laminaria and Corallina oil fields in the Timor Sea.
