YORK, UK – C-Kore Systems has expanded the application of its subsea testing technology to downhole testing.

The first application was tested onTotal’s K5F field in the Dutch North Sea. The C-Kore equipment helped locate the source of low IR on the downhole system by plugging directly into the subsea christmas tree, eliminating the need for use down-lines.

Divers were able to install the hand-held, pre-programmable units easily to quickly track the fault.
