Schilling to deliver four ROVs to Allseas

DAVIS, California --Allseas Group SA has awarded Schilling Robotics Llc. an exclusive ROV contract including four ultra heavy duty ROVs for delivery by October 2007.

The ROVs will feature 150 shp and operations rating for 4,000 m. Each also will have Schilling's extended excursion system with 500 m of tether and an independent propulsion system. Allseas says it will pair the ROVs to ODIM handling systems with active heave compensation.
