VetcoGray has introduced a production control system for fasttrack, shallow water subsea projects.

NAILSEA, UK –VetcoGray has introduced a production control system for fasttrack, shallow water subsea projects.

The PCS 1000 is a complete system with both topside and subsea hardware plus the software to run the system. The PCS 1000 is repackaged ModPod in a standardized format.

Key system components include:
• Electro-hydraulic subsea control module to monitor and control subsea valves ands sensors.
• 19-in (48-cm), rack-mounted master control station that can handle six subsea wells.

VetcoGray, a GE Oil & Gas business, says the PCS 1000 is suitable for up to 300 m (984 ft) water depths. It will be manufactured at VetcoGray's Nailsea, UK, facility and is available for commercial application.
