HOUSTON -- Enterprise Field Services Llc has awarded a contract to Saipem America for installation of pre-crossing mattresses for the 20-in. (51 cm) Shenzi oil export pipeline.
Saipem's scope of work includes installation of over 250 concrete mattresses for the pre-lay phase of Enterprises's new 83-mi (134-km) pipeline in water depths ranging from 435 to 4,325 ft (133-1,318 m) deep.
Saipem will use theHOS Innovator and the InnovatorÒ ROV for the work, which is scheduled to begin in September.
