Saipem awards ROV contract to DeepOcean

Saipem UK has awarded a letter of intent to DeepOcean UK for ROV and survey services to the Dunbar project. DeepOcean will use the M/V Mærsk Responder and M/V Mærsk Recorder on the work.

HAUGESUND, Norway --Saipem UK has awarded a letter of intent to DeepOcean UK for ROV and survey services to the Dunbar project. DeepOcean will use the M/V Mærsk Responder and M/V Mærsk Recorder on the work.

The first part of the contract is scheduled to begin in April with theResponder and the Recorder coming onsite in May. Total work will be about 90 vessel days at a contract value of $10.6 million.
