Water-based fluid for Aseng subsea controls

PANGBOURNE, UK -- Castrol Offshore is supplying Transaqua HT2, a water-based hydraulic control fluid, for use with the Aseng project surface and subsea production control systems off Equatorial Guinea.
The first phase of Aseng in offshore block `I’, operated by Noble Energy, will include five subsea wells tied back to an FPSO in 3,100 ft (944 m) water depth.
Transaqua HT2 is part of Castrol GreenField range of environmentally responsible products, designed to comply with OSPAR requirements.
