ABERDEEN, UK -- Subsea 7 has won a 30-month frame agreement from BP to provide life-of-field services in the UK and Norwegian North Sea.

The contract, valued at around $100 million, carries options for extensions. It replaces an existing contract that ran through December 2011, under which $27 million of work had yet to be executed.

Subsea 7’s work scope will include providing project management, engineering, and ROV services for offshore inspection, repair and maintenance programs. These are associated with BP’s subsea oil and gas pipelines and platforms, mainly in the deepwater West of Shetland area.

The entire offshore scope will be performed by the installation and construction vessel, Subsea Viking.
