GALVESTON, Texas – Controlling a well from an office desk is one of the technologies highlighted by Cameron at the Subsea Tieback Forum & Exhibition in Galveston March 2-4.

The CAMTROL production control system is one of the subsea systems shown at the Cameron display. This system makes it possible to control production from individual wells from any place that has Internet access while at the same time providing access security.

Also on display are MARS related subsea systems. MARS stands for Multiple Application Re-injection System. Cameron says MARS-friendly christmas trees enable flexibility by giving the ability to plan for multiple-use well re-assignments during field optimization and also the ability to plan for future secondary recovery operations with minimum production interruption.

MARS HIPPS and MARS multi-phase metering technology both also are on display by Cameron at Subsea Tieback.
